Magicians: The Devil’s Deal trailer shortlisted for a Music+Sound Award

The reveal trailer for Magicians: The Devil’s Deal is a finalist at the 2026 Music+Sound Awards in the Best Original Composition in a Video Game Trailer category. Created for publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Uppercut Games, the trailer introduced the game at Xbox Games Showcase 2026.

Made under the creative direction of Steven Verrips and Jarl Hector, the trailer brings Michael Allen’s original game score into a new shape for the reveal. Hermann Schepetkov produced and reworked the music for the edit. Clear Music handled music direction, sound design and the final mix.
