For Focus Entertainment’s Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy trailer, the music needed to feel intimate, tense and emotionally open.
We re-recorded a dramatic version of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence” with female vocals. The arrangement follows the picture closely, moving from a restrained, piano-led opening into a wider and more intense final section while keeping the original melody recognisable.
Clear Music handled the music production, re-recording and music licensing for the approximately 60-second trailer, which premiered during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026.
The track was chosen for its emotional familiarity. “Enjoy the Silence” carries a melody audiences already recognise, while the new vocal and restrained piano-led opening give the trailer a more intimate and unsettled point of view. As the edit expands, the arrangement opens with it, keeping the song recognisable while moving the music towards the scale and tension of the film.
