Music plays a central role in competitive gaming. It builds anticipation before a match, carries the energy between rounds and gives each tournament its own identity. Since 2023, we have worked with Riot Games across Valorant and League of Legends events, supervising and licensing music for broadcasts watched by audiences around the world.

Music built for live competition

Tournament music needs to work across many different moments. Some tracks must create immediate impact. Others need to support analysis, transitions, highlights or the tension before a decisive play. Our role is to find music with the right pace, attitude and emotional weight, then make sure every track can be cleared and delivered within the demands of a live international broadcast.

Valorant Champions Tour 2023

Our collaboration began with the Valorant Champions Tour 2023. We licensed more than 50 tracks from the bitbird catalogue for the tournament soundtrack. Music by San Holo, DROELOE, AK, bh, Duskus, Former Hero, Blaedsounds and many others could be heard throughout the stream between August 6 and 26.

Expanding across Valorant and League of Legends

In 2024, the partnership grew across several Riot Games competitions. For the Valorant Champions Tour in Seoul, we licensed 12 tracks from the Liquicity, 0to8 and Enhanced catalogues. For the Shanghai Masters, we supplied a further 25 tracks from bitbird, Fatstep and Enhanced. The selections moved between high-energy electronic music, cinematic builds and more atmospheric material, giving the broadcast team music for both action and release.

We also provided music for the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational in Chengdu and the League Championship Series. For the LCS, “Champion (Andromedik Remix)” by Andromedik and blackwave. featuring Jordan Mackampa became part of the tournament broadcast.

Valorant Game Changers 2024

For the Valorant Game Changers Championship, the musical direction also supported the wider purpose of the tournament. We licensed work by non-male artists including Luna Morgenstern, SKARBA and Absent Chronicles, helping the soundtrack reflect the range of talent and perspectives represented by the competition.

First Stand and VCT Paris 2025

The work continued in 2025 with the League of Legends First Stand Tournament. Tracks including “The Mission” by Dread Pitt and Yung Fusion, “To The Max” by Dread Pitt and “Made For This” by David Parsons helped shape moments of triumph, tension and momentum across the broadcast.

For the Valorant Champions Tour in Paris, we returned with a new selection of high-impact music from our catalogues. The brief called for tracks that could carry the intensity of the Masters stage while still giving the event a distinct sound. Featured artists included Toutant, Mugen, Genetics, HUSH, Quinze, P-Riot, BLOODY, MIRZHA, Eyezic, Low Mileage and many others.

A catalogue is only useful when the music fits

Across these tournaments, the work has combined music supervision, catalogue knowledge and fast, accurate clearance. The aim is never simply to place as many tracks as possible. It is to give each broadcast a musical language that responds to the game, the audience and the rhythm of live competition.
